This policy explains how Lineproof handles personal information connected with this website, product purchases, downloads, and support.

Information we collect

We may receive contact information you provide, transaction and order details from Stripe, our payment processor, support messages, and basic technical information needed to operate and secure the site. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

How information is used

• Deliver purchases and product updates.
• Respond to support, refund, or access requests.
• Maintain security, prevent misuse, and keep business records.
• Send marketing only where you have opted in or applicable law allows it.

Service providers

Stripe processes checkout, payment, tax calculation, receipts, and fraud controls on our behalf. Lineproof is the seller and merchant of record for these sales. Email, hosting, analytics, and file-delivery providers may also process information on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms.

Analytics and cookies

Optional Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measurement is disabled unless you accept it through the website notice. If accepted, it helps us understand page visits, confirmed guide signups, checkout starts, completed purchases, and aggregated interactions such as clicks and scroll depth. For a completed purchase, Google Analytics may receive a non-personal transaction identifier, currency, purchase value, and product name. Clarity session replay uses strict masking so page text and form entries are not recorded as readable content. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, payment details, or other personal information in analytics events.

Use the Privacy choices button on any page to change your selection. If you withdraw consent after accepting, the page reloads with optional tracking disabled. Essential storage used for security, checkout, or a service you request may operate separately.

Retention and rights

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, support, legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping purposes. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of certain personal information.
